Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Current state licensure or eligibility to obtain appropriate licensure
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) considered
  • Previous experience working with school-aged children or in educational environments is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with IEPs, evaluations, and progress monitoring
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to function independently as well as contribute to a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders for K-12 students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy in both individual and group settings
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and specialists to ensure holistic student support
  • Maintain accurate records, reporting progress and making necessary adjustments to therapy
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education requirements
