Women's Neurology Fellowship Opening at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA

We are excited to announce a one-year fellowship opportunity in Women's Neurology set to commence in July 2026. This program offers focused training that bridges neurological disorders with women's health throughout various life stages. Candidates may pursue this fellowship immediately following their neurology residency or at any point before or after completing fellowship training in a neurological subspecialty. Our fellows will have the privilege of learning from leading experts in women's neurology, including the Chief of the Women's Neurology Division, Dr. Eliza Miller (Vascular Neurology), Chair of Neurology Dr. Page Pennell (Epilepsy), and Dr. Angela O'Neal, a prominent figure in Women's Neurology education and clinical practice, who has recently taken on the roles of Fellowship Director and Director of Women's Neurology Education. Fellows will collaborate with various subspecialists dedicated to women's neurological health within an integrated multidisciplinary environment at Magee-Womens Hospital, which sees over 10,000 deliveries each year. Elective time will be customized to align with the fellow's clinical and research interests. We are committed to supporting career development, offering up to 50% protected time for research to qualified candidates interested in pursuing a clinical research pathway.
