Job Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a fellowship-trained, board-certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon to enhance our esteemed Cardiac Surgery program at a leading hospital in Syracuse, NY. This full-time position is part of a vibrant team comprising five cardiac surgeons and a dedicated group of hospital-employed cardiologists.

The clinic and surgical facilities are conveniently located on the hospital grounds, ensuring easy access for both staff and patients. This role is bolstered by a committed team of Surgical Physician Assistants who provide around-the-clock coverage in our modern, state-of-the-art hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a comprehensive range of cardiac surgical services, from minimally invasive techniques to complex surgeries.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including specialists in Non-Invasive, Electrophysiology, Interventional, and Structural Heart care.
• Maintain high-quality outcomes as measured by the Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) criteria.
• Participate in a call rotation of 1:5.

Qualifications

• Board certification in both General Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

• The posted salary represents the initial range of total compensation and does not include potential productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, or additional cash compensation opportunities.
