Window Treatments Interior Designer

• Meet with clients to understand design preferences, functional needs, and project budgets.

• Develop customized window treatment design plans.

• Recommend appropriate fabrics, materials, colors, hardware, and window covering styles.

• Apply color theory and lighting principles to create aesthetically pleasing interiors.

• Prepare design concepts and presentations.

• Coordinate project schedules from consultation through installation.

• Work with vendors, installers, and contractors to ensure timely project completion.

• Manage project budgets and procurement activities.

• Ensure quality standards throughout project execution.

• Stay current with interior design trends, materials, and window treatment innovations.

• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

• Proven experience in interior design, preferably with window treatments, remodeling, or lighting design.

• Strong knowledge of color theory and interior design principles.

• Experience with drafting techniques and CAD software.

• Understanding of construction practices and installation processes.

• Excellent project management and organizational skills.

• Strong communication and client relationship management abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Degree or certification in Interior Design is preferred.

• NCIDQ certification is a plus but not required.
