Provide comprehensive general orthopedic care in a rural community with a balanced mix of clinic, surgery, and inpatient consults. This long-term assignment offers continuity while supporting an established orthopedic practice.

Practice & Cases


  • Mix of inpatient consults and outpatient clinic responsibilities
  • General orthopedic practice focused on an aging musculoskeletal population
  • Total hip, hemiarthroplasty, total knee, and total shoulder replacements are required
  • Operating room support includes surgical staff, surgical assistance, and anesthesia support

Schedule


  • Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Operating room days on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
  • Clinic days on Tuesday and Friday
  • Shared call averaging 10 days per month

Requirements


  • Must be an MD or DO
  • Active New Hampshire license or active Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification
  • Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Must have performed at least 12 total hip or hemiarthroplasties, 12 total knee arthroplasties, and 12 total shoulder arthroplasties within the past year

Logistics


  • Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are provided
  • Travel accommodations are arranged for eligible assignments
