Surgery Scheduler

Excellent opportunity now available for an experienced surgery scheduler looking to take the next step in their career. This position will directly support 2-3 surgeons and their administrative team with the following duties:

-Schedule patient procedures as well as pre and post-op appointments

-Submit authorizations for approval and investigate denials

-Verify insurance coverage
-Update patient demographics

-Coordinate pre op testing, EKGs, Lab work and Imaging

-Request medical records and update patient charts

Candidates with prior patient scheduling and insurance authorization experience will be given first consideration.
