\n The Driver will load and unload materials and deliver to, from and within work sites as required. This position requires a commercial driver’s license
\n (CDL).

Primary Responsibilities and Duties
\n • Operate medium to large sized trucks, transporting materials between company work sites using private roads and driving on public highways.
\n • Load and unload trucks, using other equipment as necessary, such as forklifts.
\n • Secure cargo for transport, using rope, blocks, or covers.
\n • Obtain proper and complete documentation prior to moving materials.
\n • Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.
\n • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any defects, damage, or repairs needed.
\n • Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or fluids.
\n • Maintain logs of working hours, or of vehicle maintenance, following applicable state and federal regulations.
\n Qualifications
\n • Experience as a Haul Truck Driver in a Power Plant / Industrial setting
\n • Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.
\n • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.
\n • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.
\n Requirements
\n • The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site,
\n so should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl
\n • Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoor
\n weather conditions
\n • Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as required
\n • May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to access
\n required equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb and
\n maintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffolds
\n • Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfaces
\n • Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environment
\n • May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds across
\n construction/industrial site
\n • Must have required tools
\n • May require U.S. Driver License
\n • Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as required
\n • Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing
\n • Ability to pass fit for duty testing
