Step into an impactful contract position as a Middle School Math educator where you’ll empower general education learners while building positive connections in a vibrant school community. This onsite, full-time role is ideal for a passionate educator eager to create engaging math experiences while shaping young minds during the 2026-2027 academic year.

Key Details:

  • August 24, 2026 through June 10, 2027
  • Full-time, 35 hours per week
  • Onsite, with working hours between 8:30AM-4:00PM
  • General education middle school math caseload; may occasionally overlap with SPED students (supported by specialized SPED teachers)
  • Contract opportunity

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (required for emergency teaching permit)
  • Active Pennsylvania teaching certification/license for assigned caseload
  • Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably in urban settings
  • Proven ability to manage classrooms and student behaviors effectively
  • Comfort working within district guidelines and unique school environments
  • Mastery of math curriculum, instructional skills, and state/district standards
  • Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate formative assessment and differentiation
  • Completion of PA state clearances prior to start date
  • Reliable transportation is a must
  • Availability to work the specified onsite schedule without accommodation

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver dynamic and differentiated math instruction to general education students
  • Design and implement lesson plans aligned with state and district expectations
  • Ensure each student’s progress through regular formative assessment
  • Support a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and administration
  • Maintain accurate records as required by the school and district
