Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Valid OT state licensure (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)
- Previous school-based OT experience, especially with PreK-12th grade populations, preferred
- Strong clinical skills delivering up to 950 direct service minutes per week
- Proficiency in assessment, documentation, and progress reporting for IEP/504 plans
- Adaptable, flexible, and confident with diverse caseloads and changing daily assignments
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
Role Highlights & Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled OT services for students aged Pre-K through 12th grade
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans to support academic and functional skills
- Conduct assessments and document outcomes as part of multidisciplinary teams
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of achievable student goals
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student generalization and success
- Offer consultative services to support classroom staff in adapting learning activities and environments
- Maintain detailed records and comply with all relevant state and federal regulations
This contract role begins September 2, 2026, and continues through June 17, 2027, typically offering 37.5–40 hours per week. Hours generally run from 8:00 am–3:30 pm, though schedules may shift slightly for meetings or school needs.
