Physical Therapist - School Setting in Bethel, CT

What you bring:

• Valid Physical Therapist license
• Experience providing therapy to pediatric and/or elementary-aged children
• Knowledge of school-based physical therapy practices and documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, teachers, and families
• Commitment to fostering student independence and functional success
• Ability to adapt to diverse student needs in a school environment

What you’ll do:

• Deliver physical therapy services to an elementary caseload as part of a collaborative educational team
• Perform assessments to identify students’ motor skill and mobility needs
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans and IEP goals
• Track student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state requirements
• Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and other support professionals
• Offer training and strategies to support classroom participation and student growth
• Contribute insights during IEP meetings and goal development
