School Psychologist in Oakdale, CA

Empower students to thrive by providing critical psychological services within a dynamic school environment. As a contract School Psychologist, you’ll partner with educators, administrators, and families to ensure that each student receives the support they need for academic and personal success.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology (or related field)
• Current and valid School Psychologist certification/licensure (as required by state guidelines)
• Previous experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting highly preferred
• Strong assessment, counseling, and consultative skills
• Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments
• Develop, monitor, and participate in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Deliver counseling services to students on an individual or group basis
• Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to recommend strategies for student success
• Participate in intervention teams and provide crisis response support when needed
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school and district standards
