Role Requirements:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Previous experience in a school environment preferred
  • Strong knowledge of current OT practices for pediatric and school-age populations
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work full-time during the 2026-2027 academic year

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver individualized and group therapy sessions for students with diverse needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure cohesive support plans
  • Provide progress updates, maintain documentation, and support compliance requirements
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development activities
