School Psychologist - Andover, Kansas

Qualifications/Experience:

• Master’s or specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
• Valid state certification or license for School Psychologists (or eligibility for licensure)
• Experience in educational settings, providing assessments and collaborating on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse student populations
• Solid understanding of current best practices in psychological assessment and intervention
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to communicate effectively with students, staff, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and families regarding student needs
• Develop and help implement evidence-based interventions and behavioral supports
• Participate actively in response-to-intervention and problem-solving teams
• Promote mental health awareness and resilience through preventative programs
• Contribute to crisis intervention and school-wide support initiatives as needed
