Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – 2026/2027 School Year Contract
Location: Norwalk, Connecticut (CT)
Term: Full 2026/2027 Academic Year (Contract Assignment)
Schedule: Full-Time, Monday – Friday
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for a contract assignment for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting students with behavioral and developmental needs by developing effective behavior intervention strategies, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and promoting positive student outcomes. Key Responsibilities
•Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
•Provide direct and consultative Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to students with behavioral and developmental needs.
•Collaborate with teachers, administrators, school psychologists, related service providers, and families to implement effective behavioral strategies.
•Train and support school staff on evidence-based behavior management techniques and intervention implementation.
•Monitor student progress, analyze behavioral data, and adjust intervention plans as needed to maximize student success.
•Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
•Education: Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
•Certification: Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
•Licensure: Must meet all South Carolina state requirements for practicing as a BCBA in a school setting.
•Experience: Previous experience working with children or adolescents in a school setting is preferred, but qualified candidates from other settings are encouraged to apply.
•Skills: Strong communication, collaboration, organizational, and data analysis skills, with a commitment to evidence-based behavioral interventions.
