This contract opportunity is ideal for a passionate OT or experienced COTA ready to make a meaningful impact while covering a leave for an Occupational Therapist. Serving schools in the vibrant area near Riverside and Rancho Cucamonga, CA, you’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and help students achieve their educational and developmental goals.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Valid certification or licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
  • Previous experience in educational or school settings strongly preferred
  • Solid background in fine motor skills development and interventions
  • Proficiency in teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Prior experience covering leaves or working within contract positions is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality OT services to students, both in-person and via teletherapy as needed
  • Assess students’ needs, develop individualized intervention plans, and track progress
  • Work closely with educators and support staff to implement strategies that enhance participation and performance
  • Foster fine motor skill development through targeted activities and hands-on interventions
  • Maintain detailed documentation of services provided, progress notes, and compliance with school district requirements
  • Serve as a reliable resource and advocate for students’ occupational needs during the duration of the assignment
