Special Education Teacher - Oneida, TN

ProCare Therapy is seeking two dedicated Special Education Teachers to join a supportive school district in Oneida, Tennessee for the 2026-2027 school year. These are full-time, onsite positions serving students with mild to moderate disabilities in an inclusive educational setting.

Position Details

• Full-time

• Full 2026-2027 school year

• Two openings available

• Onsite in Oneida, TN

Responsibilities

• Deliver academic interventions in reading and math

• Co-teach alongside general education teachers to support students with disabilities

• Develop and implement IEPs

• Monitor student progress and collaborate with school staff and families

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines

Caseload

• Approximately 12-22 students, depending on staffing

• Students may have:

  • Specific Learning Disabilities (SLD)

  • Other Health Impairments (OHI)

  • Language Impairments (LI)

Qualifications

• Active Tennessee Special Education certification required

• Open to candidates holding 144, 145, or 461 Tennessee Special Education endorsements

• Previous school-based experience preferred, but qualified candidates are encouraged to apply
