Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Texas Special Education Teacher Certification (required)
• Experience in self-contained or Life Skills/practical academics settings at the elementary level preferred
• Strong classroom management skills and a passion for differentiated instruction
• Ability to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and track student progress
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with families, paraprofessionals, and other team members

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction to meet students’ academic and functional goals
• Implement and monitor IEPs, assess progress, and participate in ARD/IEP meetings
• Foster a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom culture
