Position Overview
We are seeking a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide behavioral support to students in a school-based setting in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will work closely with teachers, special education staff, and BCBAs to help students achieve academic, behavioral, and social-emotional success throughout the school day.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in the classroom
* Implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and support IEP goals
* Collect and document behavioral data to monitor student progress
* Assist students with communication, social skills, and classroom participation
* Utilize positive behavior support strategies and de-escalation techniques
* Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and supervising BCBAs to support student success
Qualifications
* Active RBT certification required
* High school diploma or equivalent required
* Previous experience working with children in a school or ABA setting preferred
* Strong communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to remain calm, patient, and adaptable in a classroom environment
Compensation and Benefits
