Job Summary
We are seeking an Administrative Assistant for a long-term contract opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, FL within the insurance industry. This role supports field sales, Professional Services, and Sales Operations teams in the Consumer Division by helping process applications, manage requests, maintain accurate records, and provide timely communication to agents, partners, and members.
This is a great opportunity for an organized administrative professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, fast-paced office environment. The role offers exposure to sales operations, member account support, commission preparation, confidential documentation, and cross-functional problem-solving. Candidates who are detail-oriented, positive, and comfortable supporting multiple teams will be well positioned for success.
Key Responsibilities
- Process applications that cannot be completed through the Consumer Sales Team, including special requests, payment postings, and cancellations.
- Collaborate with multiple internal divisions to help resolve processing issues and support timely completion of requests.
- Maintain accurate spreadsheets for sales, cancellations, postings, ACH declines, and credit card declines.
- Assist with filing, organizing, and managing confidential documentation in a professional office setting.
- Respond to inquiries and concerns via email, fax, and phone while delivering professional and courteous service.
- Support commission preparation twice per month and provide updates to sales agents regarding application processing and submitted requests.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $41,000 to $41,600 per year.
