Job Summary
A banking and consumer lending organization in Novato, CA is seeking a detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant for a contract/temporary opportunity. This role supports day-to-day Human Resources operations, employee documentation, compliance tracking, benefits administration support, department coordination, and internal HR projects.
The HR Administrative Assistant is a great fit for someone who enjoys organized administrative work, confidential employee support, and collaboration with HR team members and business partners. Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and distribute employee packets for onboarding, termination, benefits, and new employee orientation.
- Coordinate annual labor law compliance postings, HR policy and procedure distributions, and related tracking activities.
- Manage and maintain HR administrative processes, including organizational charts, logo wear, name tags, business cards, anniversary gifts, department supplies, storage, and file management.
- Process department invoices, expense reports, benefits bill reconciliations, retiree coverage checks, and support benefit audits.
- Assist with HR events and department projects, including the Annual Health Fair, room reservations, event setup, giveaways, and follow-up tasks.
- Maintain tracking for employee suggestions, questions, shared notes, and other HR department records.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay rate: $26 to $28 per hour.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
