Position Overview:

GPT Renewables is actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman with an established 9-person crew that regularly travels and works together for a utility scale solar project in Stockton, CA. This project requires a team experienced with the GameChange Ballast Racking System, with GameChange Pour-N-Place Ballast experience highly preferred.

Pay Rate: $41.90/hour
Fringe Benefits: $29.89/hour
Per Diem: $125.00 per day worked
Schedule: 5x8s
Start: 8/5/2026
Length: 9 weeks

Responsibilities:

\n
• Lead and supervise a 9-person mechanical and module installation crew.
\n
• Coordinate daily work activities to meet production goals.
\n
• Install and oversee installation of the GameChange Ballast Racking System.
\n
• Maintain quality standards while ensuring all work is completed safely.
\n
• Read and interpret construction drawings and installation plans.
\n
• Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure OSHA compliance.
\n
• Coordinate with site management and communicate project progress.
\n
• Mentor crew members and maintain a productive team environment.
\n

Qualifications:

\n
• 7+ years of utility-scale solar mechanical and module installation experience.
\n
• Previous experience leading solar installation crews.
\n
• Mechanical installer crew requires 4 years of utility-scale solar mechanical and module installation
\n
• GameChange racking experience is required.
\n
• GameChange Pour-N-Place Ballast System experience is strongly preferred.
\n
• We highly prefer a Foreman bringing a crew that has worked together previously.
\n
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage daily production.
\n
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
\n
• OSHA 10 Certification required
\n
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
\n
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
