Step into a rewarding role as a full-time Occupational Therapist working within a dynamic elementary school environment for the upcoming academic year. From September 2nd to June 24th, you will enjoy a structured Monday through Friday schedule, with hours from 8:00am to 3:00pm—providing a predictable work-life balance. The assignment begins with a meeting day before welcoming students on September 3rd.

In this position, you will provide eight therapy sessions per day, servicing both MTSS and general education students. You’ll collaborate with a Physical Therapist, sharing a well-equipped therapy space designed to facilitate creative and effective interventions.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current licensure and registration to practice Occupational Therapy
  • Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with interdisciplinary teams
  • Capacity to manage a varied caseload and adapt to the needs of both general and special education populations
  • Proficiency in developing and implementing individual and group therapy plans for school-aged children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations to determine students’ therapy needs
  • Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver sessions that enhance students’ participation and success in school activities
  • Track and document student progress and communicate effectively with families and staff
  • Actively engage in staff meetings, IEP meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Foster an inviting, supportive environment in the shared therapy room
