Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) in California
- Previous experience in a school-based OT role strongly preferred
- Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Knowledgeable in adapting equipment and environments to meet diverse student needs
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Document progress, participate in IEP meetings, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and families to support student success
- Support classroom teams with strategies for student sensory and motor needs
