With a recent annual caseload of 103 evaluations, your expertise will help shape educational pathways and foster student success. The position is open to part-time candidates and offers occasional opportunities to work from home, offering flexibility for diverse professional and personal needs.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification/license in Ohio
- Experience with PreK student assessments and conducting comprehensive evaluations
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with families, educators, and multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for crafting impactful reports
- Flexibility to adapt to full-time or part-time scheduling
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases efficiently
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform thorough PreK evaluations to identify students' learning, behavioral, and emotional needs
- Interpret assessment results and share findings with parents, staff, and other stakeholders
- Develop actionable recommendations and interventions for student support
- Work closely with teachers, counselors, and special education teams to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other school team meetings as required
