Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid SLPA license or certification appropriate for schools
- Previous experience in a school-based setting is highly valuable
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, teachers, and other specialists
- Ability to implement treatment plans developed by Speech-Language Pathologists
- Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist Speech-Language Pathologists in delivering direct therapy services to students
- Carry out activities and interventions as prescribed in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Track student progress, complete documentation, and maintain accurate records
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Support a collaborative approach to student communication needs within the school setting
This position covers the entire school year, beginning August 3, 2026, and concluding May 28, 2027. It includes a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, with all work performed onsite in a supportive school community that values each student’s unique potential.
