A retail pharmacy located in the Bronx is seeking a Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers a structured schedule with no weekend shifts, making it ideal for those seeking work-life balance while working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule:
- 4x10 schedule (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday)
- 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Accurately checking and verifying prescriptions (no vaccine administration required)
- Collaborating with a small team consisting of 3 pharmacy technicians, 1 delivery person, and the store manager
- Managing a daily prescription volume of approximately 200 Rx
Qualifications:
- Current, clear, and active NY pharmacist license
- Local candidates preferred for easy commute
- Retail pharmacy experience is preferred but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Experience with BestRx system is a plus; training will be provided if needed
