Special Education Teacher in Beloit, WI

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid cross-categorical special education licensure required
• Experience working with elementary-aged students, especially in grades 4–6, is highly valued
• Ability to adapt instruction and personalize learning to diverse needs, supporting inclusion and self-contained settings equally
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with general educators, support staff, and families
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture
• Organizational skills for documentation and compliance with IEPs and educational goals

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to individual student needs
• Provide differentiated instruction within both self-contained and inclusion classrooms
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure student success
• Support positive behavioral interventions and foster a safe, respectful learning environment
• Maintain detailed progress records and participate in regular IEP meetings
