This position focuses on providing direct services to K-12 learners, engaging with a diverse caseload and making a positive difference within the school setting. Your expertise will help advance communication skills among students while working collaboratively with educators and support staff.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state licensure/certification for SLPs
- Previous experience serving school-aged children (K-12)
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Ability to provide assessments, direct therapy, and individualized education plan (IEP) support
- Comfortable working onsite in a school environment for the full academic year
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy to students across kindergarten through 12th grade
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and document progress in alignment with state and school requirements
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement IEP goals
- Maintain accurate case records and reports
- Participate in team meetings, professional development, and school-based events as required
- Transition from virtual to onsite SLP services, ensuring continuity of care
