Join Our Team as an OB/GYN

Our organization, a regional tertiary care facility and an ACS-verified Level II trauma center, is on the lookout for an additional full-time, board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN to enhance our well-established, hospital-employed practice located in Bangor, Maine. We welcome applications from new graduates and those seeking visa sponsorship.

Position Overview

As part of our team, you will:

  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of 8 physicians, 2 certified nurse midwives, 3 nurse practitioners, and skilled support personnel.
  • Deliver both routine and high-risk obstetric and gynecologic care to a diverse patient population of around 500,000. Our facility serves as the referral center for two-thirds of Maine, with many patients traveling significant distances to give birth here.
  • Benefit from a robust robotic surgery program featuring four DaVinci Xi robots.
  • Participate in approximately 1,100 of the 1,600 annual deliveries in Bangor.
  • Access 24-hour Maternal Fetal Medicine consultations via phone, supported by an on-site MFM ultrasound department and 9 full-time sonographers.
  • Utilize on-site anesthesia services and a Level III NICU.
  • Provide consultation services for the Northern Light Family Medicine residency program and engage with rotating medical students.
Compensation Details

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $404,625 to $414,625, with opportunities for additional earnings based on productivity. This compensation range reflects our organization's expectations and may not encompass all potential additional compensation elements, such as call pay and leadership stipends.
