Radiologist

Our organization is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Radiologist dedicated to delivering outstanding care to Veterans. This full-time role presents a chance to collaborate with a skilled team of Radiologists while enhancing patient care in a compassionate and mission-focused setting.

• Annual salary range: $350,000 - $400,000
• Location: Jackson, Mississippi
• Eligibility for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), which can provide up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified individuals.
• Full-time schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with minimal on-call duties.

• Deliver a range of image interpretation, image-guided procedures, and patient care services (excluding Interventional Radiology and Mammography tasks).
• Engage in quality assurance and performance enhancement initiatives.
• Oversee technical quality standards.
• Educate staff and trainees.
• Participate in committee assignments.
• Perform additional duties as required.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
• Fellowship training in Musculoskeletal, Body, or Neuroradiology is preferred but not mandatory.
• Desired skills include the ability to interpret: Musculoskeletal MRI, Lung cancer screening chest CT (applying Lung-RADS), Liver/HCC screening MRI (applying LI-RADS), Prostate MRI (applying PI-RADS), Renal mass MRI, Rectal MRI, and/or Thyroid ultrasound (applying TI-RADS).
• Strong dedication to serving Veterans and enhancing healthcare outcomes.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and teamwork abilities.
• Capability to handle clinical and administrative tasks in a dynamic, high-volume setting.
• Doctor of Medicine degree or an equivalent qualification from an accredited medical or osteopathic institution recognized by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
• A current, unrestricted medical or surgical license in a U.S. State, Territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia.
