Our organization is on the lookout for a full-time Advanced Endoscopist to become a part of our Gastroenterology Team in Grand Rapids.

  • Practice in contemporary facilities equipped with Olympus 190 scopes, utilizing Epic for inpatient and clinic visits, and Provation for all procedure documentation.
  • Experience a manageable call schedule, with coverage expected every eighth week.
  • Typical daily endoscopy schedule includes 14 outpatient procedures, while the inpatient census generally averages fewer than 10 patients, supported by APPs for inpatient consults, ensuring a balanced and sustainable workload.
  • Act as a referral center for our organization in West Michigan, providing specialized care throughout the region.
  • Collaborate closely with the Lacks Cancer Center and the Cancer Center Network of West Michigan, receiving strong support from surgical oncology, medical oncology, colorectal surgery, and interventional radiology.
  • Participate in educational initiatives through resident teaching and mentorship, aiding in the development of future healthcare professionals.

As a provider employed by our organization, you can expect:
  • A competitive salary starting at $600,000, along with a $75,000 signing bonus.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of 4th year advanced endoscopy training is required.
  • Physicians must be board certified in their specialty or board eligible, with the expectation to become board certified within five years of eligibility.
  • A valid State of Michigan license is required upon employment.
  • DEA license is necessary.
  • BLS Certification is required, with maintenance of recertification.
