Pre-Op RNs assess, instruct, and prepare patients prior to surgery. Pre-Op RN job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

\n - Ensure that operative and informed consents are signed and correct
\n - Take and record vital signs and initiate IVs
\n - Educate the patient about the procedure and post-op care
\n
