LHH is actively seeking an Accounting Clerk for one of our top clients in Costa Mesa! This will be a long term contract with our client and will report to their office in Costa Mesa.
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator (Level 1 or Level 2) to join our accounting team. This role is responsible for processing invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate payment of company obligations. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications.
This position reports directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.

Responsibilities
Level 1
- Enter invoices accurately into the accounting system.
- Verify vendor statements and assist with invoice reconciliation.
- File, scan, print, and maintain Accounts Payable documentation.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to Accounts Payable.
- Follow up on outstanding or unreconciled invoices.
In addition to Level 1 responsibilities:
- Manage the full Accounts Payable cycle, including invoice processing, check runs, wire transfers, domestic and international payments, and freight invoices.
- Review and classify invoices and purchase orders, posting transactions to the appropriate general ledger accounts.
- Work closely with internal departments and vendors to resolve invoice discrepancies and payment issues.
- Help ensure accurate and timely processing of all Accounts Payable transactions.
- Previous Accounts Payable or accounting experience preferred (Level 1 or Level 2 experience will be considered).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Teams.
- Ability to communicate professionally with vendors and internal departments.
- Experience with M3 ERP software is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
