Essential Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Valid School Psychologist certification/license as required by the state (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Prior experience working in a K-12 educational setting strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education processes
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and organizational skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations for K-12 students
  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions
  • Provide crisis intervention and counseling for students as needed
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and staff to identify and address academic and behavioral issues
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and other multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Maintain required documentation and adhere to federal, state, and district guidelines
