This part-time contract position is ideal for a School Psychologist interested in specialized evaluation work for the 2026-2027 academic year. You'll contribute expertise as a key member of the preschool arena testing team, collaborating alongside an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist and two Diagnosticians.

This opportunity offers approximately 14-15 hours per week on a flexible schedule, beginning between August 10th and 17th. Your primary focus will be on-site assessments, participating in arena evaluations—particularly for children approaching their third birthday, many of which relate to Autism evaluations. While caseload numbers vary based on referrals, the work centers on targeted, specialized assessments rather than ongoing case management.

Desired Qualifications:

• Valid credential as a School Psychologist.
• Previous experience in school-based assessment, especially early childhood or preschool populations.
• Collaborative mindset, comfortable working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Familiarity with Autism and developmental assessments is a plus.
• Strong communication skills.
• No CPI certification required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive psychological assessments as part of the arena testing process for incoming preschoolers.
• Collaborate with SLPs, Diagnosticians, and other team members to determine student needs and appropriate interventions.
• Contribute to team meetings, providing insights and recommendations based on evaluation findings.
• Complete all required documentation in adherence with district guidelines.
