Special Education Teacher in Morgan, GA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the state of Georgia
• Prior experience working with high school students is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized instruction to a high school caseload, adjusting curriculum and strategies to support diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with staff and families
• Track student progress and provide regular reporting
• Engage in team meetings, professional development, and ongoing training related to special education best practices
• Foster a welcoming, positive learning atmosphere that promotes student growth and confidence

Details:

• Contract position beginning August 3, 2026 through May 27, 2027
• Full-time schedule: 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Pay rate of $38 per hour
