Job Description

The Pediatric Endocrinology Division at our organization, in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics at a prominent medical school, is seeking a qualified Pediatric Endocrinology physician. Candidates should possess an MD or equivalent degree, be board certified or eligible in both Pediatrics and Pediatric Endocrinology, and have the capability to secure an unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license.

Opportunity Overview

  • Primary clinical role encompassing both inpatient and outpatient duties.
  • Contribute to the expansion and development of our current practice, supported by a team of nurses and certified diabetes educators.
  • Engage in a busy inpatient and consult service alongside an active Fellowship program, which currently accommodates three Fellows annually.
  • The Pediatric Endocrinology Division boasts a long-standing tradition of excellence and a strong outpatient practice, serving as the primary referral center for Western Pennsylvania, Northeastern Ohio, and Northern West Virginia.
  • Our team consists of 17 physicians and 12 advanced practice providers, complemented by 17 diabetes educators, 4 dietitians, 2 social workers, a clinical psychologist, and 9 endocrine nurses. The Division operates across multiple locations in Western Pennsylvania and is well-positioned for significant growth to ensure optimal care for all children.
  • Both the Pediatric Endocrinology Division and our hospital have consistently ranked among the Top 10 Honor Roll in U.S. News & World Report's "America's Best Children's Hospitals," achieving a current ranking of #6.
