\nWhat you will do
\nWork Shift: 7:00 to 4:00 with one hour lunch. (Lunch Optional)
\nPerforms assigned advanced system commissioning using Johnson Controls configuration and commissioning tools.
\nTroubleshoots and resolves basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and control problems.
\nResponds to basic warranty calls.
\n \nHow you will do it
\nLoads system-level controller software. Performs advanced commissioning and system diagnostics from system-level controllers to end devices (i.e., sensors, actuators, etc.) and completes all required commissioning documentation.
\nKeeps management and JCI contractor or customer informed of job progress and issues.
\nCalibrates systems requiring basic electronic test equipment.
\nCompletes administrative tasks including but not limited to time sheets, expense reports, and on-site documentation.
\nDocuments change and provide information for as built documentation.
\nCommunicates with the JCI contractor or customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
\nFollows all safety standards and attends required safety training. High degree of regard to employee and subcontractor safety.
\nCommunicates and organizes technical teams to perform assigned tasks.
\n \nWhat we look for
\nRequired
\n5 years’ experience in HVAC or Building Automation Systems (BAS).
\n4 years of experience commissioning electronic and/or mechanical systems.
\nDemonstrated technical aptitude.
\nAble to use hand and power tools (i.e., drills, saws, etc.)
\nBasic computer skills required.
\nEffective communication and listening skills.
\nDepending on location, the mounting and termination of low voltage devices may have special licensing requirements.
\nDemonstrated high level of knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical circuitry, and HVAC controls.
\nProficient with test equipment and software tools related to commissioning of controls systems.
\nDemonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently startup and commission more advanced controls systems.
\nProvides mentoring and basic leadership to entry level technicians as assigned
\n \nPreferred
\nExperience in BACnet, Metasys, IP networks
\n \nHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $24.52 - $39.90 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
