UMass Memorial Medical Group seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our adult Critical Care team. In this role, you will perform comprehensive assessments, diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions, and deliver expert care with a high degree of autonomy. You will also engage in education, quality improvement, and leadership initiatives that support patient outcomes and team development. \nProvide coverage across 8 adult ICUs
\nPerform lifesaving procedures and manage complex conditions
\nPractice at the top of their license with autonomy and collaboration

\nAre essential and respected members of our interdisciplinary ICU care team
\nOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests
\nConduct in-depth health histories and physical examinations
\nAnalyzes data collected to determine health status and identify differential diagnoses based on history, physical exam, and clinical findings.
\nDevelop and implement care plans with physicians and patients
\nManage therapeutic interventions and perform advanced procedures
\nReassess and modify plan treatment plans to achieve medical and health goals.
\nDocuments and communicate care outcomes and clinical findings to determine effectiveness of plan of care.

Qualifications:
\n\nFor Nurse Practitioners
\nMaster s degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program (preferably ACNP/AGACNP)
\nCurrent Massachusetts NP license
\nBoard Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
\nAcute Care/Critical Care clinical experience required
\nMassachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
\nFor Physician Assistants
\nBachelor s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
\nCurrent Massachusetts license, issued by the Physician Assistant Board
\nCurrent certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
\nAcute Care/Critical Care clinical experience required
\nMassachusetts Controlled Substances Registration and federal DEA Controlled Substance Registration
