Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts Severe Disabilities teaching license (required)
• Demonstrated experience supporting students with significant needs
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Prior experience working with elementary students (1st and 2nd grade preferred)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to adapt instruction and materials to meet diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, individualized instruction for students in a substantially separate classroom setting
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in close collaboration with families and school staff
• Utilize evidence-based strategies to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, accommodations, and modifications
• Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages growth and participation
• Communicate effectively with parents, therapists, and other team members
