Special Education Teacher - Eagle Point, OR

Make an impact on students’ lives as an Autism Specialist, serving K-12 schools within a vibrant 35-mile radius of Medford, Oregon. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity seeks experienced special education professionals who are passionate about supporting students across the autism spectrum, from high-functioning learners in general education to those needing intensive interventions in self-contained settings.

You’ll join a collaborative team providing specialized assessments, guidance, and support to students, families, and school staff. As a travel professional, you’ll make a difference throughout dynamic Southern Oregon communities, from Ashland to Grants Pass and Eagle Point.

What we’re looking for:

• Master’s degree in Special Education, Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), School Psychology, or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with focused autism training
• Valid Oregon TSPC licensure (SLPs may be Board Certified)
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting students on the autism spectrum across a range of grade levels and severity, including both general education and self-contained settings
• Demonstrated experience conducting autism evaluations and assessments
• Familiarity with public education, IEP teams, and special education processes
• Strong collaboration, communication, and consultation skills

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Delivering direct and consultative autism support services
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations and contributing to IEP development
• Training and coaching school staff and families on effective interventions and strategies
• Collaborating across school sites to promote inclusion, academic growth, and positive behaviors
