Hematology/Oncology, Hematology/Oncology (Leukemia) Need in Downtown Orlando, Florida

The Orlando Health Cancer Institute is seeking a BC Hematologist/Medical Oncologist with demonstrated experience in leukemia care to join our team as the Cancer Institute is developing a new Leukemia service.

The hematology division is well developed and is busy providing services in both classic and malignant hematology. Additionally, A well-developed bone marrow transplant section provides both autologous and allogenic transplants and cellular therapy, and has a large geographic draw.

The cancer center had a strong, dynamic combined hematology and oncology fellowship program with a wide range of educational activities.

Responsibilities of the selected candidate:

1. Responsible for the treatment of leukemia patients both inpatient and outpatient.
\n
2. Work with the rest of the leukemia team to further develop the leukemia section in cooperation with the hematology and bone marrow transplant services.
\n
3. Advance research activities related to leukemia.
\n
4. Responsible for the education and training of the fellows and residents with structured rotation.
