Job Description

Typical working hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, and candidates are welcome to apply for full-time, part-time, or hybrid in-person roles, providing flexibility to accommodate your professional life. While specific building assignments are to be determined, your commitment will impact a diverse student population and work closely with educators and families.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
- Valid Minnesota PELSB-issued school psychologist license
- Strong dedication to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive services
- Background in school-based assessment, intervention, and mental health support
- National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility preferred
- Experience utilizing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for consultation and intervention
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, and adeptness in supporting adult learners
- Familiarity with crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention in schools
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
- In-depth understanding of special education law, compliance, and urban/multicultural educational environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide direct student support
- Consult with educators and families as part of an MTSS model
- Lead or facilitate professional development for staff
- Support crisis response, mental health initiatives, and schoolwide prevention efforts
- Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
