Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
• Valid Minnesota PELSB-issued school psychologist license
• Strong dedication to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusive services
• Background in school-based assessment, intervention, and mental health support
• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility preferred
• Experience utilizing Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) for consultation and intervention
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, and adeptness in supporting adult learners
• Familiarity with crisis prevention, intervention, and postvention in schools
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• In-depth understanding of special education law, compliance, and urban/multicultural educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments, develop intervention plans, and provide direct student support
• Consult with educators and families as part of an MTSS model
• Lead or facilitate professional development for staff
• Support crisis response, mental health initiatives, and schoolwide prevention efforts
• Ensure compliance with state and federal special education laws
