Occupational Therapist School Setting in Ilfeld, NM

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Occupational Therapist licensure (NM)
• Experience in school-based OT, home health, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
• Availability to work on-site one day per week, with sessions from 7:45AM to 2:45PM
• Familiarity with best practices in school OT, including IEP development and documentation
• Must hold a valid Medicaid NCI #
• Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct OT services to approximately 8 students, based on their individual education programs (IEPs)
• Utilize a variety of service delivery models including in-person, home health, and virtual/teletherapy as needed
• Assess students’ needs and develop targeted, effective intervention plans
• Maintain detailed session documentation and progress reports
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ learning and participation
• Adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy services
