Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure (NM)
- Experience in school-based OT, home health, or teletherapy settings strongly preferred
- Availability to work on-site one day per week, with sessions from 7:45AM to 2:45PM
- Familiarity with best practices in school OT, including IEP development and documentation
- Must hold a valid Medicaid NCI #
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and staff
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct OT services to approximately 8 students, based on their individual education programs (IEPs)
- Utilize a variety of service delivery models including in-person, home health, and virtual/teletherapy as needed
- Assess students’ needs and develop targeted, effective intervention plans
- Maintain detailed session documentation and progress reports
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ learning and participation
- Adhere to district, state, and federal guidelines for school-based therapy services
