Job Description
Make a positive impact on students’ lives while working as a School Psychologist on a full-time contract basis. In this engaging role, you’ll serve two districts, providing vital support to students, families, and educators. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience or coursework with behavioral intervention, counseling, and assessment
- Familiarity with IEP development and special education processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively at multiple sites within two districts
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education and behavioral plans
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to support students’ academic and emotional development
- Provide direct and consultative counseling services to students, families, and staff
- Interpret assessment results and offer recommendations in a clear, supportive manner
- Collaborate with teachers and administrators to address diverse learning needs and promote positive behavior
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with district, state, and professional guidelines
