CompensationSalary Range: $31.21 - $49.94 per hour

Job ResponsibilitiesThe primary duties include:
- Gathering and analyzing relevant health data to create and implement personalized care plans aimed at achieving measurable outcomes for women and newborns, focusing on family-centered care.
- Coordinating care delivery to ensure a supportive environment for women, newborns, and families.
- Evaluating progress towards expected outcomes in the context of family-centered care.
- Making ethical decisions on behalf of women, fetuses, and newborns, guided by a solid ethical framework.
- Communicating effectively with women, families, healthcare providers, and the community to deliver holistic care.
- Acting as a role model, consultant, and mentor for women, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Staying updated with evidence-based nursing practices for women and newborns.
- Integrating evidence to assess and enhance interprofessional knowledge and care approaches.
- Evaluating personal nursing practices and participating in the assessment of peers based on current standards and guidelines.
- Considering resource factors such as safety, effectiveness, and fiscal responsibility in care planning.
- Ensuring a safe and healthy environment while delivering care.
- Applying evidence-based practices to nursing care, tailored to the specific needs of patients.
- Maintaining a state of alertness and safety while performing duties.
- Completing additional tasks as assigned.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensing.
- Experience: No prior experience is necessary.
- Frequent oral communication and standing/walking.
- Regular lifting and carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, reaching, and data entry tasks.
- Regular use of vision for near and far distances, as well as color differentiation.
- Frequent auditory communication and recognition of sounds.
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing 25-50 lbs and moving patients.
- Occasional bending, stooping, and other physical movements.
- Rarely crawling or running.
- Location: Missouri
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Missouri Division of Professional Registration or a Compact State.
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the AHA, or Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the AHA.
