Our organization, a rapidly expanding healthcare system in south-central Pennsylvania, is thrilled to announce an opening for an Adult Endocrinologist. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving practice focused on managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, pituitary conditions, osteoporosis, and menopause-related issues in an outpatient environment. You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, compassionate care to our patients.
Opportunity:- The physician will be an integral member of the care team, providing telephone consultations to inpatient nurse practitioners for guidance and care discussions.
- We have a robust outpatient diabetes program that includes support for insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and patient education.
- Contribute to the development of advanced technologies for treating thyroid conditions, including in-office thyroid ultrasounds and biopsies.
- Maintain a strong partnership with the infusion center for endocrine testing and outpatient assessments.
- Participate in an osteoporosis and fracture prevention program.
- Explore opportunities for future clinical research initiatives.
- Must be board certified in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
- Completion of an Endocrinology Fellowship is required.
- Eligibility for licensure in Pennsylvania is necessary.
