Job Description
LHH is seeking an experienced Part-Time Controller to oversee its accounting and financial operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on accounting professional who enjoys working in a collaborative environment and partnering with leadership to support the company's financial health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with GAAP and company policies.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor company financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain budgets while providing financial analysis to support business decisions.
  • Coordinate with external CPA firms for tax preparation and annual audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
  • Review and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and operational efficiencies.
  • Support ownership with financial reporting, strategic planning, and special projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including Controller or Assistant Controller responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
  • Experience managing the full accounting cycle for a small or midsize business.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred Experience
  • Construction, Engineering or Architectural Industry Experience is required
  • CPA or CMA designation is a plus but not required.
Pay Details: $55.00 to $75.00 per hour
