\nResponsibilities

- Consistently communicate and model the vision and goals of Whole Foods Market. \n
- Interview, select, train, develop and counsel Team Members and Team Leaders in a manner which builds and sustains a high performing team and minimizes turn over. \n
- Establish and maintain a positive work environment, which sustains an exceptionally high level of Team Member morale. \n
- Responsible for maintaining quality standards for all inbound produce. \n
- Responsible for contacting and securing USDA inspections when necessary. \n
- Responsible for all ripening processes. \n
- Continually seek out new ways to improve produce inspection processes, communication and reporting to support operations. \n
- Provide timely, thorough and thoughtful job dialogues. \n
- Work collaboratively with Team Member Services on Team Member relations including proper documentation, investigations and corrective action. Make separation decisions with guidance of Team Member Services and Facility Leadership. \n
- Communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security standards. \n
- Project annual productivity targets and labor expenses. \n
- Accurately tracks and documents Team Member productivity. \n
- Establish and maintain collaborative and productive working relationship with the DC Procurement team, Global Procurement, Facility Leadership, Team Leaders and Team Members. \n
- Provide accurate, complete information in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports, as required. \n
- Model and cultivate effective intra-facility and inter-facility communication. \n
- Establish and maintain positive and productive vendor relationships. \n
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of, and ensure compliance with relevant regularity rules and standards, including: OSHA, FMLA, Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Department of Labor, Health and Sanitation, FDA, Department of Agriculture, Weights and Measures \n
- Schedule and attend all Team and Facility meetings. \n
