Job Summary
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity in Gainesville, FL, supporting administrative operations within the financial services industry. This role is ideal for a professional with 1-2 years of administrative, clerical, or back-office support experience who enjoys accurate document handling, service request processing, and keeping workflows moving efficiently.
This position offers a structured Monday-Friday schedule, a collaborative operations environment, and the opportunity to build valuable experience in financial services support. You will work with a team that values accuracy, accountability, professionalism, and strong follow-through.
Key Responsibilities
- Retrieve completed forms from vendor websites and upload documentation for service request processing.
- Organize, store, and maintain documents in designated folders to support accurate record-keeping.
- Create, manage, and track service requests to support workflow visibility and timely completion.
- Assist operational departments with basic transaction support, account maintenance, and related administrative tasks.
- Support special projects and process improvement initiatives that improve efficiency and internal workflows.
- Handle sensitive information with confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay: $19.00 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.
- Job Type: Contract/Temporary.
- Contract Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension.
- Location: Gainesville, FL.
